Ripping CDs using FLAC format in K3b
I have decided to re-rip all of my CDs using the FLAC format, moving away from MP3 as FLAC is an open format. This will also make it easier to play using Linux as most distributions don't come with support for MP3 by default for proprietary reasons.

Convert DOS newline characters to Unix format in Vi
